All of our dogs are currently based in our shelter in Alanya, southern Turkey.

 

We have many dogs available for adoption of all shapes and sizes, ages, varying temperaments and most of them are completely mixed breeds therefore unique in the way they look!

All of our dogs can be adopted abroad to Europe and beyond. If you have any questions or queries surrounding the travel process for our dogs, please do get in touch and our team will be happy to provide more information. 

Adoption Contribution

For international adoptions (outside of Turkey), our adoption contribution is €450.

This amount covers the essential costs required to prepare a dog for safe and legal international travel.

The contribution includes:

Rabies vaccination

Microchip

EU Pet Passport

Deworming treatment

Rabies titre test

Official export and travel documentation

Final veterinary health checks before travel

Please note that this is not a purchase price. Strays of Alanya does not make a profit from our adoptions.

The adoption contribution is based on the average costs involved in preparing and transporting a rescue dog internationally. Some dogs may cost slightly more and others slightly less, but this allows us to keep the adoption process clear, fair and transparent.

 

Travel Costs

Flight arrangements and costs are handled separately from the adoption contribution.

The final travel costs depend on several factors, including the destination, airline availability, season and whether a volunteer is able to accompany the dog during the journey.

Whenever possible, we try to find the most suitable and affordable travel option for each dog.

Travel Crate

An airline-approved travel crate is not automatically included.

Whenever possible, we will provide a suitable travel crate from our available stock at the shelter. However, this depends on availability and the size requirements of each individual dog.

If a suitable crate is not available and a new travel crate needs to be purchased, this cost will be paid separately by the adopter. The purchased crate will remain the property of the adopter and will travel with the dog to their new home.

🐾 Adoption within Türkiye:
To help us ensure the safety and well-being of our dogs and to prevent any misuse or wrong intentions, we kindly ask for a small symbolic contribution for adoptions within Turkey.

This contribution helps us continue caring for the dogs who are still waiting for their forever homes.
