OUR DONKEYS.

Prince

Prince came to us in august 2016 and was our very first donkey. He was found by a shelter and stayed there for a few months, but this little naughty boy kept running off so neighbours started complaining and thus he was taken in by Strays of Alanya.

While he used to be known as the donkey that could bite, he has changed a lot since he met his friend Eeyore. He loves to cuddle and receive kisses now.

Muro

Muro is our oldest donkey, he is around 23 years old and was brought to us by a group of turkish men. He was posted about in an online facebook group, people were asking for help since he was wandering alone and hungry in the snow filled Gazipasa mountains. Strays of Alanya agreed to take him in the 19th  of december 2019.

Pearl

Pearl was wandering the streets in Mahmutlar and was picked up by us and taken in the 16th of January 2020. She has clearly been hit a lot and is still very timid and shy.

June

June came together with Amy, who we suspect is her mother, from Bursa.

They were dumped in a small village and taken in by a local rescue but could not stay there. They have been with us since the 3th of august 2019.

June is a naughty little girl who loves playing and running in the field.

Amy

Amy came from Bursa together with, what we assume is her daughter, June. They were dumped in a small village and taken in by a local rescue but could not stay there.
They have been with us since the 3th of august 2019.

Amy is a very sweet and kind donkey.

Eeyore

Eeyore came to us from another rescue because they already had too many horses and donkeys. We really wanted a companion donkey for Prince since he was so bored, so we agreed to take him in. He has been with us since may 2018 and although it took a while Prince and Eeyore are best buddies now .

Eeyore is like a big dog and loves attention and cuddles.

Garip

Garip was left by his owner next to an appartment building. One of the residents, a kind older lady, took care of him for a few days but had someone write to us on facebook to please help out.
He was taken in in July 2019.

It took a while for him to get used to the place and we have had some good workouts running after him when he had ran off again. But he has settled down very nicely and is accepted nicely into the herd.
